When you create an account or make a purchase, we collect your name, email address, and your phone number. We use your phone number together with your payment details to help determine your country of tax residence, so that we can apply the correct tax treatment to your purchase. We also store your eSIM order history and preferences such as your selected currency and language.
All payment processing is handled by Stripe. We never store, process, or have access to your full credit or debit card details. Stripe's privacy policy governs how they handle your payment data.
We use your information to:
Your data is stored securely on our platform. We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, alteration, or destruction.
We use browser local storage to remember your preferences (such as currency and language) and shopping cart contents. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.
We use trusted third-party services to operate our platform. Stripe processes your payments and may receive billing details (such as name or email) associated with a transaction, governed by Stripe's own privacy policy. eSimAccess provisions and manages your eSIM and receives a unique SIM identifier (ICCID), order number, and device information linked to your order, but does not receive your name or email address. OneSignal delivers our push notifications and receives a device identifier linked to your account for this purpose. We do not sell your personal data to any third party, and we do not use these services for advertising or tracking.
We take your privacy seriously and follow the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
You can ask to see, change, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time, and you can opt out of push notifications whenever you like. We will never sell your details to anyone. We only keep your information for as long as we need it to provide our service and meet any legal requirements.
To delete your account: log in to Llama (via the app or hellollama.co), go to Profile, and select Delete Account. This will permanently remove your personal data, though anonymised order records may be retained for legal and accounting purposes, as described in Section 8. If you're unable to access your account, email us at contact@hellollama.co to request deletion.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your personal data, please get in touch first so we can put it right — see our contact details below. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint if you believe we haven't handled your data properly.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data will be permanently removed, but anonymised order records may be retained for legal and accounting purposes.
Our service is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has given us their personal data, please get in touch so we can remove it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
